Do you have a background in food manufacturing and a passion for innovation in food applications? We’re looking for a Technical Service Specialist Assistant to support our team of expert food technologists in developing and testing food products using our proprietary ingredients.

🔹 About the Role:

As part of the Technical Services team, you will assist in food application trials, lab testing, sensory evaluation, and process optimization. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with experience in a food factory environment (not R&D) and who is comfortable working in a dynamic, collaborative lab setting.

🛫 Travel: Must be willing to travel to other countries

💼 Contract: 18-month contract

🔹 Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in food application and recipe development (e.g., processed meats: beef, pork, chicken, seafood)
• Conduct lab analysis, shelf-life studies, and stability tests
• Perform sensory evaluations of taste, texture, and quality
• Support continuous improvement and cost-efficiency initiatives
• Ensure safety compliance and help maintain safety programs
• Maintain accurate lab documentation and records
• Prepare samples and manage inventory in the food application lab
• Perform routine cleaning and lab maintenance
• Contribute to innovation and sustainable food tech practices

🔹 Who We’re Looking For:
• Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or related field
• Min. 1 year of experience in meat processing (factory background preferred)
• Passionate about food product development and innovation
• Strong grasp of food safety standards and food science principles
• Detail-oriented with good analytical and communication skills
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office; willing to learn new tools
• Adaptable, proactive, and able to work independently
• Willing to work flexible hours and take calls across global time zones
