Job Description

The Financial Modelling Analyst position at PER, Private Equity Recruitment is based in Mexico City, Mexico. About our cl ient
Our client is an investment advisory firm specializing in M&A and debt advisory for energy and infrastructure funds and companies. The firm has a broad global footprint with offices in Asia, North America, Europe, and Latin America. You will work alongside seasoned investment professionals in all transactions and play an instrumental role in the team by building comprehensive financial models. You will have the chance to interact with the different global offices on deals as well as receive valuable financial modelling training from the headquarters in Europe. The position is based in Mexico City
What the job involves
• Build financial models in Excel using historical information and other available industry-specific operating metrics
• Conduct scenario analysis based on microeconomic and macroeconomic factors to access business risk
• Analyze financial statements and perform in-depth financial statement analysis.
• Identify key financial and non-financial risks and mitigating factors.
• Conduct industry and company research to support transaction analyses and recommendations.
• Work with senior management and team in the due diligence and execution of transactions.
• Play an active role in monitoring financial and operating factors of current transactions.
Who we are looking for
• Experience in financial modelling and valuation; knowledge of the energy and infrastructure sectors is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, engineering, actuary sciences or similar field.
• Superior analytical and financial skills.
• Excellent Excel skills
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English.
