The Opportunity:

A great opportunity for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join a leading generator specialist, supporting maintenance and repair of diesel generators across the South West. You’ll carry out planned servicing, diagnostics, and breakdown support across both customer-owned and rental units.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance and servicing of diesel generators
• Diagnose and repair faults on-site and in the field
• Carry out site surveys as needed
• Participate in on-call rota for emergency support
• Maintain clean, safe, and compliant working environments

What You'll Need:
• Qualification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or relevant apprenticeship
• Experience servicing diesel generators (FG Wilson, Cummins, etc.)
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Full UK driving licence
• ECS/CSCS or CCNSG card preferred (not essential – training provided)

Pay & Overtime Rates:
• Weekdays: Standard / Time & Half / Double Time (depending on hours)
• Saturdays: Time & Half / Double Time
• Sundays & Bank Holidays: Double Time
