Missoula County is hiring Fair Occasional Laborers for a short-term summer position from late May to late August 2025. The role involves unskilled manual labor such as cleaning, painting, and maintaining the fairgrounds. Pay ranges from $16.93 to $18.61 per hour, depending on experience. Applicants need 6 months of manual labor experience and a valid driver's license. Positions are available part-time and full-time.
This is a short-term summer opportunity with part- and full-time positions available. Employment runs from end of May to end of August 2025! As a Missoula County employee, you will be part of a team that is committed to positively impacting the community. The pay range for this position is $16.93 - $18.61 per hour, DOE.

The Missoula County Fairgrounds is seeking FAIR OCCASIONAL LABORERS to join their team. This position performs a variety of unskilled manual labor.

Cleans, paints and assists with minor repairs to buildings and other fairgrounds structures. Digs and fills excavations. Rakes leaves, mows lawns and trims shrubs. Cuts and removes brush and trees. Maintains clean grounds; picks up trash; empties garbage cans. Shovels snow and/or manure. Removes ice from streets and walkways. Moves heavy objects from one location to another. Requires 6 months of experience in manual labor or basic grounds-keeping. Requires a valid driver's license.Requires bending, stooping, crawling, climbing ladders and heavy lifting (50-75 pounds). May require working under extreme outdoor weather conditions.
