Expedited SVN_National Programme Officer – Climate Action and Human Mobility (Internal Only)

The IOM is seeking a National Programme Officer for Climate Action and Human Mobility in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The role involves planning, implementing, and monitoring projects to enhance community resilience, economic opportunities, and disaster preparedness. The officer will provide technical support for initiatives related to human mobility and climate change, coordinating with various stakeholders.
Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission (CoM) in Bangladesh and direct supervision of the Deputy Chief of Mission and in coordination with the Snr. Emergency Coordinator the successful candidate will contribute to the planning, implementation, and monitoring of project activities aimed at enabling stronger community level resilience linked to livelihoods and economic opportunities; community cohesion; access to services; and preparedness for natural disasters overseen by the DDRRU.

S/he will provide technical support and coordination to human mobility and climate change initiatives related to monitoring and evaluation and government liaison.
