Environmental Tutor - Ladies

NANNEER is seeking an Environmental Tutor - Ladies in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, to facilitate engaging, activity-based environmental education sessions. Responsibilities include promoting eco-friendly behavior, conducting hands-on demonstrations, maintaining documentation, and supporting Eco Clubs. The role is part-time, with a contract of 6 months, offering a salary of ₹15,000 - ₹25,000 per month. The position requires in-person engagement with students and schools.
Facilitate Activity-Based Sessions:
• Deliver engaging environmental education sessions based on Nanneer’s module.
• Conduct both indoor and outdoor activities in alignment with the curriculum’s learning objectives.

Student Engagement:
• Use local stories, data, emotional triggers, and cultural context to inspire students.
• Encourage participation, critical thinking, and eco-friendly behavior among children.

Hands-on Demonstration & Support:
• Set up compost pits, rainwater harvesting models, plant nurseries, or upcycling workshops as per the module plan.
• Guide students in executing these hands-on activities responsibly and safely.

Documentation & Feedback:
• Maintain attendance, note observations, and collect feedback after each session.
• Share session summaries, photos and insights.

Promote Eco Clubs and Follow-up Activities:
• Assist schools in forming or strengthening student Eco Clubs.
• Recommend follow-up activities and community outreach ideas post-sessions.

Represent Nanneer’s Values:
