Job Description

New Hampshire Ball Bearings is hiring an Environmental Sustainability Specialist in Laconia, NH. The role involves ensuring regulatory compliance, overseeing safety programs, and conducting audits to improve health and safety. Candidates should have a BS in a related field, relevant certifications, and at least 5 years of experience in Environmental Health and Safety, preferably in manufacturing. The position is full-time and not remote.
New Hampshire Ball Bearings is a world-class manufacturing facility located in the scenic Lakes Region. We are seeking an Environmental, Health and Safety professional to provide support to our operation.

This role involves coordinating regulatory compliance programs, reporting, and permitting. Additionally, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of an employee safety and health program with a goal of reducing work-related accidents and injuries.

Key qualifications include a BS Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related field. Professional certification such as CHMM or CSP, or ability to obtain such within 2 years is also required. Lean / Six Sigma / Continuous Improvement experience is preferred, as well as minimum 5 years' experience in an Environmental Health and Safety role, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of OSHA, NHDES and EPA regulations is necessary.
