Job Description
AARC Environmental is seeking an Environmental Specialist in Noida, India, to manage client projects related to Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) compliance in the US. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality work on time, addressing project roadblocks, maintaining documentation, and providing insights on EHS regulations. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in Engineering and a Master’s in Environmental Engineering/Science, with 2-3 years of relevant experience.
The Environmental Specialist works on client projects in their domain within the overall realm of Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) compliance in the US. They are responsible for delivering high quality work products within agreed timelines and time budgets. The incumbent communicates with clients, when needed, and collaborates with colleagues in India and the US to provide exceptional client service.
Key responsibilities
• Plan and deliver assigned projects ensuring high quality deliverables and delivery on time and within the time budget;
• Promptly address roadblocks, if any, that can potentially impact quality, timeliness or project effort; escalate where senior intervention is needed for issue resolution;
• Ensure client and project documentation is saved in appropriate internal repositories;
• Keep knowledgebase on relevant EHS regulations current; provide insights/training to colleagues, when required; seek guidance of more experienced colleagues as needed;
• Contribute innovative ideas to improve service quality, efficiency and productivity;
• Stay updated on clients through regular research and identify sales opportunities;
• Provide technical inputs to BD and Strategic Client Management teams, when needed.
Educational qualifications and work experience
• Bachelor’s in Engineering and Master’s in Environmental Engineering/Environmental Science from a reputed institution
• 2-3 years of experience in delivery of client projects in environmental consulting; knowledge/experience in US EHS regulations will be preferred
• Proven track-record in delivering multiple projects with excellent attention to detail

• Strong spoken and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Good inter-personal skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues to achieve goals
• Self-motivated with a strong passion to learn and build technical knowledge-base
