Dyno Nobel is seeking an Environmental Intern for Summer 2025 in Cheyenne, WY. What You’ll Do
As an Environmental Intern, you will gain hands on experience working with the Cheyenne, Wyoming Environmental team in a chemical plant setting. Some duties include:
• Coordinate local implementation of environmental compliance, company policies and programs related to environmental management systems
• Collaborate with operations, procurement, and engineering to ensure compliance with regulation
• Assist with preparing, maintaining, and updating environmental plans, permits, and procedures.
• Learn to draft and assist in the preparation of permit and renewal applications, responses to notices of deficiency, notices of violations, surveys, reports and any other requests for information from environmental agencies
• Prepare and review document submissions to state and federal agencies to monitor compliance status.
• Develop and provide guidance and best practices to operations regarding their responsibilities for compliance.
• Demonstrate and/or lead the commitment to the pursuit of achieving Zero Harm through behavioral based safety

• Junior level standing pursuing Bachelor’s degree in an Environmental field (Engineering, Science, Chemistry, Health), Biology, hydrogeology, geology or related field

About your internship
Duration: 10 - 12 weeks
• Gain hands on working experience to demonstrate your educational skills and gain industry knowledge.

• Provide engineering knowledge in order to define your skill set
