Your Impactful Role:

As an Environmental Geoscientist, you will be integral to the success of various engineering and environmental projects. Your expertise will help shape project design and execution through thorough data analysis, site investigations, and collaborative efforts with multi-disciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive environmental site assessments (Phase I and Phase II ESA) to evaluate contamination risks.
• Perform detailed field investigations including soil and groundwater sampling, characterizing sites, and analyzing subsurface conditions.
• Collaborate effectively with engineers and scientists to formulate site remediation plans and methodologies.
• Supervise and ensure compliance during site remediation activities, adhering to rigorous project specifications and regulatory demands.
• Utilize GIS and geospatial technologies to interpret and display environmental data effectively.
• Create visually engaging maps, models, and visualizations that support engineering and environmental endeavors.
• Assist in drafting technical reports such as geological assessments, environmental impact evaluations, and site investigation summaries.
• Work alongside a diverse team including engineers, planners, biologists, and cultural resource specialists to incorporate environmental considerations into project designs.
• Communicate findings and strategic recommendations clearly to clients, regulators, and stakeholders.
• Remain informed on federal, state, and local environmental regulations to ensure all projects align with compliance standards.
• Contribute to project planning by identifying environmental risks and constraints.

What We’re Looking For:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Earth Science, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in geology or a related field, particularly with GIS applications.
• Expertise in GIS, Microsoft Office, and environmental analysis software.
• Solid understanding of environmental regulations such as NEPA, CERCLA, and RCRA.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication capabilities.
• A track record of working autonomously and collaboratively in team-oriented settings.
• OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification or readiness to obtain it.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in managing multiple projects and client relationships.
• Background in project management and engaging with clients.
• Experience working with federal agencies such as DOT, FHWA, USACE, or BLM.
• Possession of a Professional Geologist (PG) license or eligibility to obtain one.
