Clean Harbors is seeking an Environmental Field Technician in Etna, ME, to engage in hazardous waste cleanup and site remediation. Clean Harbors is looking for a passionate and skilled Environmental Field Technician to join our dedicated team in Hampden, ME. Key Responsibilities:
• Prioritize health and safety by adhering to all policies and procedures.
• Engage in physical labor and operate both light and heavy equipment.
• Safely use a variety of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Work in diverse weather conditions and environments with potential hazards.
• Assist in field sampling activities and calibration of meters.
• Conduct inspections for container integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Manage the safe loading and unloading of waste materials.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Be available for on-call emergency response duties as required.

Required Qualifications:
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to perform physical tasks as outlined in the responsibilities.
• Agree to on-call emergency response duties and flexible work hours.
• Pass a background check, drug test, and physical examination.
• Meet OSHA's facial hair standards for respiratory safety.

Preferred Qualifications:
• A valid driver’s license.
• Previous experience in a relevant labor position.
