Environment, Health and Safety Specialist

Jollibee Group is seeking an Environment, Health and Safety Specialist in the Philippines. The role involves implementing EHS policies, conducting safety audits, and facilitating training. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, relevant certifications, and at least 3 years of experience in food manufacturing. The position requires full onsite presence in Danao, Cebu.
Title: Environment, Health and Safety Specialist

The Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist will facilitate the implementation of safety and environmental policies, procedures, and systems that strengthen the organization's overall EHS performance.

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct regular inspection and management of Safety Appliances, including:
• Fire Extinguishers
• Emergency Lights
• Exit Signs
• Conduct regular safety and environmental audits and facilitate the closure of findings.
• Assist and monitor the progress and effectiveness of all EHS programs.
• Facilitate the conduct of the EHS Training Calendar as scheduled.
• Conduct Basic Safety Orientation for employees and Contractor Safety Orientation.
• Arrange and coordinate other safety and environmental trainings required by the organization.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for:
• Accidents and incidents
• Raised audit findings and observations
• Attend to the needs and operational requirements of the Emergency Response Team (ERT).

Job Summary
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
• Must be a licensed Mechanical Engineer or licensed Chemical Engineer.
• Strong background in environmental and occupational safety regulations, risk management, and emergency response.
• Strong knowledge of DENR and DOLE permit processes and regulatory compliance.
• Accredited Safety Officer 3 (SO3) certification.
• Preferably with at least 3 years of experience in food manufacturing; relevant experience in similar industries will also be considered.
• Willing to be assigned full onsite in Danao, Cebu.
