Responsibilities:

As an Entry to Mid-Level Civil Engineer in the Water Resources Group at Environmental Consulting & Technology (ECT), you will play an integral role in supporting and advancing water resource projects for public utilities while also supporting our green infrastructure, ecological restoration, power industry and natural resources team.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Assist in the planning, permitting and development of water and energy infrastructure projects.
• Support the development of detailed plans and specifications, ensuring alignment with project goals and industry best practices.
• Conduct field investigations, site assessments, and data collection to inform project development and ensure accuracy and completeness in project planning and implementation
• Provide contractor oversight to ensure quality and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist in preparing permit applications, technical reports, studies, and project documentation.
• Communicate findings, calculations, design details, and recommendations to stakeholders, regulatory agencies, and team members.
• Support various teams within the business including water infrastructure, green infrastructure, ecological restoration, and natural resources.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• 0-4 years of experience in civil site or water resources engineering.
• Knowledge of site civil/grading/roadway design is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft excel.
• AutoCAD/AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS skills are preferred.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or anticipated.
• Strong communication, organizational and technical writing skills.
• Highly motivated and able to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
