Job Description
Finray.Solar is hiring an Entry Level Solar Sales Manager in Chicago, IL. This role involves leading and training an outside sales team in the rooftop solar sector, driving sales growth, and fostering a high-performance culture. Candidates should have experience in sales management, knowledge of the solar market, and strong leadership skills. The position offers a salary of $31,200 plus commission, benefits, and paid time off.
Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative Lead who will help us develop an outside sales team, and become a Sales Manager that leads our team in IL in the rooftop solar sector. This pivotal role requires a strong leader who can effectively drive sales growth, and foster a high-performance culture. The ideal candidate will possess an understanding of the solar market and demonstrate exceptional leadership skills to inspire and motivate their team. They will work alongside our Community Solar state manager and team in Chicago (based out of Hyde Park).
Position Overview
As the Rooftop Solar Sales Manager your duties will include:
• Training of field sales leaders and consultants; lead, mentor and coach
• Engage in outside sales activities, including door-to-door training of new reps and closing sales leads, to expand customer base.
• Monitor lead generation team and close leads.
• Communicate with division manager and branch manager to scale team

Requirements
• Proven experience in managing or leading a sales team, preferably in the renewable energy industry
• Strong knowledge of rooftop solar and incentives
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
• Excellent communication skills; bilingual (spanish) abilities are a huge plus
• Experience in outside sales
• Strong customer service orientation with a focus on client satisfaction.
• Ability to analyze team performance and culture

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
