VECTOR GREEN PTE. LTD. is seeking an Engineering and Technical Manager in Singapore to oversee GREEN-focused engineering projects, including automation and control systems. The role involves managing project delivery, system integration, technical support, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Candidates should have a degree in engineering, extensive experience in system design and integration, and strong leadership skills. Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Engineering and Technical Manager to manage and oversee the delivery of GREEN-focussed engineering projects across various sectors, including automation, control systems, and industrial technology. The ideal candidate will lead the technical aspects of projects, ensuring seamless integration and execution across multiple domains, such as SCADA systems, PLC programming, industrial automation, and building management systems. The role requires strong leadership, system integration expertise, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet client requirements and deliver projects on time, within scope, and on budget.
Key Responsibilities
1. Site Planning and Engineering Execution
• Develop and execute site delivery plans based on inputs from the system architecture team.
• Oversee on-site engineering tasks to ensure seamless execution and adherence to design specifications.
2. Design, Integration, and Risk Management
• Design and implement industrial control systems, including SCADA/DCS, PLC systems, and integration with industrial protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC, MQTT, Profibus).
• Support project teams on interfacing tests with 3rd party devices and ensuring seamless integration.
• Manage the preparation, review, and coordination of technical drawings to meet project requirements.
• Develop comprehensive method statements and conduct risk assessments to ensure safety and compliance.
3. Implementation and Testing
• Lead the hardware and software implementation process, ensuring quality and efficiency.
• Perform PLC/SCADA engineering development for Building Management Systems, including logic and GUI template development.
• Lead Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), site testing, commissioning, and post-deployment activities.
4. Technical Support and Training
• Provide technical support to clients during and after project execution.
• Deliver tailored product training sessions for stakeholders and end-users.
5. Collaboration and Client Engagement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, developers, and technicians, to achieve project goals.
• Serve as the primary technical liaison for clients, providing expert guidance and ensuring requirements are met.
To perform in this role, you should have:
Education:
• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields.
Experience:
• Extensive experience in system design, implementation, and integration.
• Proficiency in industrial protocols such as Modbus, OPC (DA/UA), MQTT, and Profibus.
• Strong background in PLC programming and HMI/GUI development.
• Proven experience in testing, commissioning, and risk assessment processes.
Mindset:

Preferred Qualifications:
