• Conduct field site visits or virtual inspections to verify measure installation and operating conditions.
• Support development and application of Measurement and Verification (M&V) strategies aligned with IPMVP protocols.
• Analyze trends in measure performance, realization rates, and cost-effectiveness to identify actionable insights.
• Collaborate with program evaluators, data analysts, and client stakeholders to synthesize findings and present technical results.
• Draft clear and concise engineering memos, technical appendices, and contribution to formal evaluation reports.
• Help design customer and trade ally survey instruments and review responses for technical relevance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of internal evaluation methods, tools, and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Energy, or related Engineering field from an ABET-accredited institution.
• 8+ years of experience in energy efficiency engineering, energy auditing, or related technical field.
• Deep understanding of C&I building systems and efficiency technologies.

• Proficiency in engineering calculations and energy modeling tools (e.g., Excel-based calculators, eQuest, EnergyPlus, etc.).
• Energy modeling and data analysis: IESVE, EnergyPlus, eQuest, OpenStudio
• Familiarity with M&V practices and protocols such as IPMVP.
• Experience with ASHRAE Level I and II audits or energy assessments.
• Exceptional attention to detail, with ability to synthesize complex information and communicate clearly.
• Strong writing skills and comfort working in collaborative, deadline-driven environments.
Preferred Qualifications
• Professional certifications such as CEM, PE, PMP, LEED AP, or equivalent.
• Familiarity with utility Demand Side Management (DSM) program design, implementation, or evaluation (Midwest experience a plus).
• Experience working with evaluators or in third-party evaluation roles.
• Background in statistical analysis or program performance metrics.
• Knowledge of greenhouse gas quantification methods and decarbonization strategies.
• Familiarity with customer and market research methods related to program evaluation.
What We Offer
• A collaborative, inclusive, and mission-driven culture.
• Exposure to leading-edge program designs and decarbonization initiatives.
• Salary range: $100,000–$130,000 based on experience.
