About Us:
We are seeking an Energy Efficiency Specialist to support the promotion of rebate programs and energy-saving solutions for both contractors (Trade Allies) and customers in Indiana. This role requires an outgoing, self-motivated individual with a business development mindset to engage with stakeholders and drive program participation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Promote and educate contractors and customers on rebate programs and energy-efficient solutions.
• Conduct outreach via phone and in-person meetings to generate interest and participation.
• Build and maintain relationships with Trade Allies (private contractors using rebates for projects) and customers.
• Utilize Salesforce CRM to track outreach efforts and maintain an up-to-date sales pipeline.
• Work independently in the field while receiving support from hiring managers.
• Travel 3-4 days per week to meet with contractors and customers; 1-2 days remote/office work.
• Process rebate applications and ensure compliance with program guidelines.
Qualifications:
• Sales experience (any industry) with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Self-starter who thrives in an independent, customer-facing role.
• Experience in energy efficiency or related fields is a plus but not required.
• Comfortable with “soft sales”—persuading stakeholders on rebate benefits rather than selling a product.
• Valid driver’s license & reliable vehicle (Mileage reimbursement provided).
• Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) is a plus.
Work Schedule & Benefits:
• Full-time, Monday – Friday (8 AM – 4/5 PM) with occasional after-hours work.50% of bill covered).
