Electrical and Instrumentation Commissioning Technician (DIDO)

Powertech Pty Ltd is seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Commissioning Technician for an 8-10 month role in Bridgetown, WA. The position involves calibration, fault diagnosis, and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems. Candidates must have a WA unrestricted electrical license and at least 4 years of commissioning experience. The job operates on a 2 weeks on, 1 week off schedule with a pay rate of A$83/hr plus superannuation.

Powertech Resourcing is a multidisciplinary commissioning organisation providing services to the energy and resources sectors throughout Australia.

Due to continued growth and expansion in the business, we are currently taking applications for E&I Commissioning Technicians to join our clients Commissioning team.
• Duration: 8-10 months
• Roster/Hours: 2 weeks on : 1 week off | 12 hours per day | Thursday to Wednesday
• Location: South West of Perth (3hrs) - DIDO
• Rate: $83.00/hr + super
• Superannuation paid on all hours

Must be able to start back end of April 2025

Drive in 1st day, start work on arrival | Drive home 14th day (Full 12 hour day paid each way)

Main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Perform calibration and fault diagnosis of electrical, mechanical and pneumatic instruments and systems
Perform calibration and fault diagnosis of plant instrumentation such as transmitters, analyzers, control valves, switches, relays, etc.
Commissioning of Plant and Equipment
Fault Finding
Point testing
Minor rectification works

Experience, skills and qualifications:
WA – Unrestricted Electrical licence
Commissioning experience 4+ years
Cert III or IV Instrumentation
Construction White card
CPR/LVR (Desirable)
First Aid (Desirable)
