Electrical Power Pro Technician​/EPP

Amentum is seeking an Electrical Power Pro Technician in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role involves maintaining, modifying, and repairing electrical power generating systems and associated equipment. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, with four years of relevant experience and specific knowledge of Cummins equipment. A Secret Security Clearance and a US CENTCOM Medical Exam are required. The position is full-time with a salary range of AED 60K–120K annually.
Position: Electrical Power Pro Technician (EPP)
Essential Responsibilities:

The designee shall be qualified to maintain, modify, and repair electrical power generating and control systems, automatic transfer switches, and associated equipment. They will perform scheduled periodic maintenance on systems and components, and adjust generator systems to maintain proper voltage, current, frequency, and synchronization. The role involves identifying, recording, and repairing generator malfunctions by removing, repairing, or replacing defective components. The designee shall maintain systems such as, but not limited to, Cummins generator series' DGDK, DSGAB, DGBB, C15D6, C35D6, 125D6D, MEPP series 1050, 1070A, PP-3106A, and Cummins Inpower software.

They shall be skilled in working from blueprints, drawings, and operating various electrician’s hand tools and testing instruments. Support will be provided for generator systems listed in Tables 4.5.1 to 4.5.5, covering C2 Systems, ATCALS Systems, ATC Weather Systems, C2 Air Control Squadron O&M Support, and Regional Maintenance Center O&M and Support Equipment.
Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Required:
• High School diploma or GED. Formal training on power generating equipment and associated systems, such as military technical training, vocational college, or a four-year apprenticeship with experience in electrical power production maintenance and repair.
• At least four (4) years of practical experience with the equipment to be maintained. Six (6) months of Cummins Commercial, Advanced Medium Mobile Power Source (AMMPS), and InPower Software experience are required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US CENTCOM Medical Exam.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
