Electrical/ Mechanical/ Instrumentation Helper ( Power Plant Industry)

STAR SERVICES LLC is seeking an Electrical/Mechanical/Instrumentation Helper for the Power Plant Industry in Abu Dhabi. Candidates must have at least 5 years of power plant experience, proficiency in basic English and Arabic/Urdu, and skills in assisting technicians. Experience with hand and power tools, working in confined spaces, and knowledge of safety protocols are essential. The contract lasts 5 months, starting November 2024.

Required Experience and Skills:
• They should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a power plant and be able to read, write, and understand basic English + Arabic and/or Urdu language to receive proper and clear instructions during the work.
• Ability to assist Mechanical and/or Electrical and/or Instrument Technicians in the fieldwork.
• Experienced in the use of hand tools and power tools.
• Experience in working in confined spaces such as boiler, distiller, culvert, etc.
• Ability to work at heights on scaffolding, chimneys, high equipment, etc.
• Should have basic knowledge of electrical hazards and safety. For Electrical and Instrument Helpers, it is mandatory.
• Should be trained and have good knowledge in rigging and slinging.
• Should have basic knowledge of industrial safety and strict adherence to the safety rules.
Contract Duration : 5 months, from the 1st week of November 2024 to the end of March 2025.
