This job posting invites applications for a Sessional Lecturer position in Ecological Principles of Agroforestry. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and delivering lectures, organizing guest speakers, maintaining course notes and readings, setting and marking course assignments, and compiling final marks.

Course Details:

Course Title: Ecosystem Management and Sustainable Land Use

Course Description: This course explores the role of trees and forests in agricultural land-use systems. Students will examine the biological and management aspects of agroforestry within socio-economic constraints of developing countries.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver lectures and tutorials on ecological principles of agroforestry
• Organize guest speakers and field trips to enhance student learning
• Maintain course notes, readings, and assignments
• Set and mark assessments, including mid-term and final exams
• Compile and submit final grades

Qualifications:

Preferably holding a PhD degree with extensive experience in forest agroforestry and conservation; teaching experience is an asset.
