Job Description

Seeds Renewables is seeking an Early Career Architect or Designer for a remote/hybrid position based in California, MO. This role involves collaborating on sustainable architectural projects, assisting in design and drafting, and gaining experience under a licensed architect. Ideal candidates are recent graduates or students in Architecture or Industrial Design with strong design skills and a passion for sustainability. The position offers flexible work hours and valuable hands-on experience.

About Us:
Join an interdisciplinary team at a pre-seed climate tech startup focused on innovative solutions with urban integration. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly creative and collaborative architecture or industrial design student or recent graduate to contribute to forward-thinking projects and gain valuable experience working alongside a licensed architect.

This is primarily a remote role but will require occasional in-person check-ins with the lead architect.

What You’ll Do:
• Collaborate with the design and engineering team to support the development of cutting-edge architectural projects.
• Assist in designing, drafting, and reviewing plans, specifications, and layouts for urban planning and sustainable architecture initiatives.
• Contribute to creative problem-solving in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
• Work closely with an NCARB registered supervisor and licensed CA architect, to help meet NCARB AXP (Architectural Experience Program) requirements.
• Design and build prototype models, including material and structural integration.

Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing or having completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Industrial Design.
• Strong creative design and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with architectural and design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch Up, etc.).
• Passion for sustainability and green technology.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
