Job Description

PosiGen is seeking a Director of Partner Sales to lead and expand its solar contractor partner network. This role involves sales leadership, account management, and building long-term partnerships. Candidates should have B2B sales experience, preferably in the residential solar industry. While the position is remote, preference is given to those in the Northeast region. Key responsibilities include managing a team, developing sales strategies, and maintaining partner relationships.
Summary

The Director of Partner Sales will spearhead the expansion and management of PosiGen's solar contractor partner network. This strategic hybrid role blends sales leadership and account management, requiring proven B2B sales expertise and a talent for building and maintaining strong, long-term partnerships with key stakeholders.

While this position can be US-remote, we strongly prefer candidates located in one of our areas of operation in Plymouth Meeting, PA and the surrounding Northeast region (NJ, CT, MA, RI, NH).

Essential Job Functions
• Lead a high-performing team focused on managing and expanding PosiGen’s contractor partner network.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with partners through email, phone, and in-person interactions to foster trust and collaboration.
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to grow PosiGen’s contractor partner business by increasing wallet share, onboarding new partners, and expanding into new markets.
• Conduct regular follow-ups and maintain proactive communication with partners to ensure satisfaction, address concerns, and identify evolving needs.
• Forecast sales volumes for the partner network with precision, meeting or exceeding sales and partner engagement targets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the contractor partner program meets performance expectations and aligns with organizational goals.
• Organize and manage client events, meetings, and presentations, ensuring all materials are prepared to support impactful communication and pitches.
• Take on additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned by leadership.

Competencies
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, ensuring clarity and professionalism in all interactions.
• Meticulous attention to detail, with a strong emphasis on execution and follow-through.
• Proficient in both quantitative and qualitative analysis, with advanced expertise in Excel.
• Highly self-motivated and capable of working independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Adaptable and resilient, able to quickly adjust to shifting priorities and changes.
• Outstanding customer service skills, dedicated to delivering positive and impactful experiences.

Education/Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field preferred.
• Coursework in sales techniques, marketing, or communication is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a sales-related role, with a proven track record in cold calling and lead qualification.
• 2+ years of experience in the residential solar industry; experience in residential finance is a strong advantage.
• Demonstrated commitment to financial inclusion, social justice, and/or expanding access to clean energy.

Physical Demands

The physical requirements outlined are essential for performing the core duties of this role.
• Primary responsibilities involve regular speaking, listening, standing, walking, using hands to handle or feel objects, and reaching with arms.
• Occasionally, the role may require sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Employees must be able to frequently lift and move objects weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 40 pounds.
• Vision requirements include the ability to focus at close and long distances, distinguish colors, maintain peripheral awareness, perceive depth, and make precise focus adjustments.
