Peco Pallet is hiring a Data Analyst for their Finance & Analytics team in Itasca, IL. PECO Pallet is seeking a highly motivated and self-directed Data Analyst to join our Finance & Analytics team. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in transforming raw data into actionable insights, driving operational efficiency, and supporting strategic decision-making across the company. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing reporting and analytical solutions that empower our operational business units. ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
• Design, develop, and deliver robust reports and analytical tools using Alteryx, Excel, and Power BI Desktop to provide insights into operational performance
• Leverage analytical tools and data to identify business problems, propose solutions, and measure impact
• Build custom analytical packages for evaluating the business
• Explore data to look for meaningful insights and patterns to confirm hypotheses
• Act as a change agent, promoting and supporting the adoption of new internally developed tools and reports within operational teams
• Participate in Lean activities to provide analytical support to strategic initiatives

• Translate complex data findings into clear, concise, and compelling narratives for diverse audiences through presentations and written reports
• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders from various departments, participating in video conference meetings, communicating insights via email, and delivering impactful PowerPoint presentations
• Adapt interpersonal style and communication methods to connect with stakeholders across a wide variety of backgrounds

TIME MANAGEMENT SKILLS
• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently in a remote setting
• Effective at prioritizing and organizing time across planned workload, special tasks, and unexpected requests; setting expectations as appropriate to ensure that work is completed accurately and efficiently within established time frame
• Strong and persistent follow-up skills to accomplish tasks requiring cross-functional team participation
• Adaptability and comfort with a fast-paced, continuously evolving business environment

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
• Experienced in writing complex SQL queries for Microsoft SQL Server to extract, transform, and load data from the company's Data Warehouse
• Demonstrated expertise in Alteryx, Excel (advanced functions and pivot tables; VBA and Power Query a plus), and Power BI Desktop
• Solid understanding of Data Warehouse concepts
• Experience in dealing with both structured and unstructured data

EDUCATION/OTHER:
• Bachelor's degree (Business, Finance, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field preferred)
• 3+ years of experience in a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role, with a strong focus on finance and operational reporting
• Ability to travel (up to 20%)
• Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently in a remote setting
• Maintains strict confidentiality, high integrity, and high reliability
