We are looking for a Conversions Material Handler to join our Electronics & Industrial division at our Newark-Bellevue, Delaware location. This role is crucial in maintaining the flow of raw materials and finished products while ensuring accurate inventory accounting and adherence to safety protocols. As a Conversions Material Handler, you will operate independently under limited supervision, utilizing your strong attention to detail and computer skills to maintain accurate production records and inventory. You will be responsible for setting up process orders, issuing materials based on schedule priorities, and maintaining physical inventory. Additionally, you will conduct cycle counts, troubleshoot errors, and operate powered industrial trucks (PIT) equipment. Your expertise in SAP will be essential for troubleshooting and correcting process order setups, ensuring smooth operations on your shift. This position requires excellent communication skills to report on material statuses and resolve discrepancies with relevant parties. Responsibilities
• Operate independently under limited supervision to ensure proper flow of raw materials and finished products along with excellent inventory accounting while adhering to all safety requirements.

• Utilize strong attention to detail and computer skills to electronically maintain accurate production records and inventory of all parts in the plant.

• Set-up process orders and issue material based on schedule priority.
,
• Maintain physical inventory of raw materials and finished parts.
,
• Complete cycle counts of inventory and utilize troubleshooting skills to understand and correct errors.
,
• Operate PIT equipment.
,
• Execute actions related to containment and disposition on non-conforming material.
,
• Perform first line troubleshooting for equipment malfunctions and computer program issues, involving other experts as needed.
,
• Function as the SAP expert for the shift team, utilizing SAP knowledge to troubleshoot and correct SAP errors in process order set up.
,
• Communicate status of material and follow-up on any discrepancies with appropriate parties.

Requirements
• High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
,
• Minimum 3 years of CMPT manufacturing or other relevant experience required
,
• Strong Safety and Quality focus is required
,
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
,
• Working knowledge of Excel, Word, and SAP required
,
• Attention to detail is critical
,
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills needed

• Safe Work Permit and IOES trained resource desired
,
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment is critical
,
• Ability to operate powered industrial trucks (PIT equipment)

• Ability to frequently lift 15 to 20 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 40 lbs.
