Commercial & Project Finance Analyst (AU | Renewable Energy)

DBOS is seeking a Commercial & Project Finance Analyst in the Philippines to develop pricing tools and financial models in Excel. The role requires advanced Excel skills, financial analysis experience, and the ability to create functional pricing models. Responsibilities include designing pricing models, supporting financial forecasting, and collaborating with Commercial and Asset Management teams. This is a full-time position with no degree requirement.
Were looking to bring on a Financial Analyst to support the development of our pricing tools (MPT) in Excel, financial models, etc. This person will play a key role in helping us refine how we price and forecast projects, so were after someone whos both analytical and highly hands-on with data and financial modelling. Below is a bit more detail to help you identify the right candidates.

What were looking for
• Advanced Excel skills strong command of financial modelling, complex formulas, and automation to develop and maintain pricing tools from scratch.
• Financial analysis experience particularly in calculating project hours (time sheeting), building pricing structures, and tracking budgeted vs actual costs.
• Practical understanding of financial data analysis rather than purely accounting-based experience. We need someone who can build and maintain functional pricing models that support commercial decision-making.
• Experience in forecasting and profitability analysis able to assess departmental and client-level performance, revenue trends, and cost structures.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail, with the ability to translate business needs into practical, data-driven models.
• Excellent communication skills this role will involve collaboration across our Commercial and Asset Management teams to ensure our pricing approach is consistent and scalable.

What the person will be doing
• Designing, developing, and updating pricing models in Excel to support tender submissions and project pricing.
• Building and maintaining MPTs for each operational project in our new format (to track and compare budgeted vs actual hours and costs).
• Supporting financial forecasting, revenue analysis, and department/client profitability reporting.
• Working closely with the Commercial and Asset Management teams to align financial tools with operational and business needs.
• Contributing to ongoing optimisation of pricing methodologies and project financial tracking processes.
