Job Description

Power Production Management is hiring a Cold Calling Specialist (B2B) in Indiana to promote solar energy solutions to businesses. The role involves cold calling, building relationships, qualifying leads, and driving sustainable energy adoption. Candidates should have cold calling experience, excellent communication skills, and a basic understanding of solar energy. This is a full-time, on-site position with a compensation range of $18-25 per hour and various employee benefits.
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Solar Solutions Cold Calling Specialist (B2B) to join our team. In this role, you will proactively reach out to businesses to generate interest in our cutting-edge solar energy solutions. Your primary focus will be initiating contact, building relationships, qualifying leads through cold calling, and helping drive the transition to sustainable energy for commercial clients. Responsibilities
• Conduct high-volume outbound cold calls to businesses to introduce solar energy solutions and identify potential opportunities.
• Engage decision-makers, pitch the benefits of solar energy (cost savings, sustainability, etc.), and overcome objections effectively.
• Qualify leads by assessing business needs, budget, and interest in solar adoption, passing vetted prospects to the sales team.
• Maintain accurate records of calls, conversations, and lead statuses in our CRM system.
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to refine outreach strategies and messaging based on feedback from prospects.
• Stay informed about solar industry trends, incentives, and competitive offerings to strengthen your pitch.
• Meet or exceed daily/weekly call quotas and lead generation targets.

Qualifications
• Proven track record of integrity
• Proven experience in cold calling, telemarketing, or outbound sales (B2B experience preferred).
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly over the phone.
• Resilience and a positive attitude in the face of rejection—cold calling is your strength!
• Basic understanding of solar energy or renewable energy solutions (or a willingness to learn fast).
• Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g. HubSpot) is a plus.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to thrive in a dynamic environment and adapt to evolving business needs.

Compensation

The compensation range for this position is $18-25 per hour, based on experience. This position is full-time (40 hours a week) and on-site in our Gainesville office. Compensation will be reassessed based on performance after the first 90 days.
