Job Description
Kleinfelder is seeking a Climate Resiliency Project Manager in Springfield, MA, to lead projects addressing climate change challenges. Job Summary
We're looking for an experienced Climate Resiliency Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure resilience group, you'll play a critical role in helping our clients adapt to the challenges posed by climate change.
You'll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from vulnerability assessments to adaptation planning and resilient design tasks. Your expertise in ecosystem restoration, climate risk assessments, and climate adaptation will be invaluable to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead research, analytic, design, and stakeholder engagement tasks related to climate resiliency and adaptation.
• Effectively manage project/task schedules, resources, and budgets.
• Produce high-quality deliverable work products and conduct quality reviews.
• Mentor junior staff in project planning and execution.
Requirements
To be considered for this position, applicants must have at least 10 years of professional experience in engineering or a related field, with at least 3 years of experience in project management. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or a related field is also required.
A PE license in Massachusetts or the ability to obtain one within 6 months of hire is preferred. Additionally, experience working on state and regional climate adaptation and resiliency programs is highly valued.
