Climate Change Officer

Osborne Richardson is seeking a Climate Change Officer for a local authority in the South East of the UK, working 1 day per week until March 2013. Responsibilities include planning community promotional work on sustainability, assisting businesses in improving environmental performance, and revising the Council's Climate Change Strategy. Experience in community-focused climate promotions and strategy development is required.
Our local authority client in the South East requires a Climate Change Officer for 1 day per week until March 2013.
Duties to include the planning and delivery of promotional work for the community based upon energy and water minimisation and wider sustainability issues; assisting local businesses to improve environmental performance; delivering programmes and providing advice to internal customers, and; revising the Council's five year Climate Change and Sustainability Strategy.
Experience in delivering community-focussed climate-change and sustainability based promotions as well as the development of strategies and work plans.
