The Role
We are hiring a Civil Engineer for a growing EPC contractor specializing in utility-scale solar projects. This position is an opportunity to develop your career with an organization which is on an enticing trajectory.
The business designs and delivers large and complex solar projects, manage the entire project lifecycle, working with top-tier contractors to deliver on-time, on-budget solutions. We prioritize safety and quality and are dedicated to driving innovation and sustainability within the renewable energy sector.
This role is based in Dallas, on-site, and requires experience of US-based utility-scale solar projects.
The Responsibilities
• Design large-scale Photovoltaic plants and conduct hydrological studies
• Utilize software such as HecRAS, HecHMS, QGIS, Global Mapper, Civil, and CAD
• Develop grading designs, foundation designs, road modeling, pavement designs, and drainage network designs
• Apply erosion and sediment control principles for large-scale PV projects
• Implement hydraulic and hydrology principles
• Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to establish technical criteria
• Develop engineering deliverables and drawings in collaboration with drafters
• Utilize historical data/studies and local code guidelines for new topographic surveys and geological-geotechnical studies
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
• 3 years of experience in large-scale Photovoltaic plants and hydrological studies
• Professional Engineer license preferred
