We are looking for a Greenhouse Gas Emissions Specialist to manage the delivery of verification schemes and help grow our verification portfolio, delivering to an increasingly wider client base.We are looking for a hands-on candidate, who would be responsible for Carbon Calculation/ GHG Calculation and Data Analysis for Decarbonization of the built environment.Responsibilities:Drive Product Carbon Foot printing work with projectsOwn the product carbon footprint models and update them following decarbonization projectsWork with clients to improve and ensure high accuracy of modelsValidate models with external verifiers/auditorsUpdate carbon Foot printing calculations based on objective materiality criteriaProcessing and standardizing data inputs from clients and stakeholdersSupporting supply chain emissions calculations using customer data inputs, internal systems and emissions dataCarbon emissions data research and collection from public and private sourcesUndertaking verification of Greenhouse Gas Emissions (GHG) for UK companies participating in the UK Emissions Trading Scheme, as well as delivering other diverse GHG projects.Thorough knowledge and understanding of verification activities relating to the GHG protocol and experience in delivering or managing the EU Emissions Trading Scheme verification activities.QualificationsBEng or BSc in Building Science, or Any Engineering field of studyGHG Emissions CalculationCarbon AssessmentOne Click LCATCFD reportingAligning Corporate goals with SDGsClimate Change Risk AssessmentEnergy Efficiency and management through AuditRenewable Energy Feasibility Studies and Vendor IdentificationAdditional Information5 years of experience is required for this role.With infrastructure investment accelerating worldwide, our services are in great demand, and there’s never been a better time to be at AECOM!
