The Role:
As a Carbon Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing carbon reduction strategies. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure sustainability goals are met, while keeping up to date with the latest industry regulations and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement carbon reduction strategies aligned with sustainability objectives.
• Conduct carbon footprint assessments and lifecycle analysis to identify key areas for improvement.
• Lead on sustainability reporting, ensuring compliance with relevant frameworks (e.g., SECR, TCFD, CDP, etc.).
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to drive decarbonisation initiatives.
• Keep up to date with carbon regulations and policy developments, advising the business on implications.
• Provide technical expertise on carbon reduction projects, including energy efficiency, renewable energy, and offsetting strategies.
• Support clients in meeting their net-zero commitments through tailored advisory services.
What We’re Looking For:
• Proven experience in a similar carbon or sustainability role.
• Strong understanding of carbon accounting methodologies and reporting frameworks.
• Ability to analyse complex data and translate findings into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive mindset with a passion for driving positive environmental change.
• Relevant qualifications in sustainability, environmental management, or a related field (desirable).
