Job Description
Jinko Solar Co., Ltd. is seeking a Business Development Manager for the Punjab region. Responsibilities include developing growth strategies, acquiring new customers, managing existing accounts, and generating revenue. The role requires market intelligence and support for marketing activities. Candidates should have a STEM or Business degree, 3-5 years of B2B experience, and strong negotiation skills. Proficiency in English and Urdu is required, with Punjabi preferred. This is a remote, full-time position.
Job Responsibilities:
• Regional Growth Strategy: Develop and execute strategies to maintain Jinko Solar’s market-leading position within the Pakistan PV market, specifically focusing on the high-potential Punjab province.
• New Business Development: Conduct targeted outreach activities and market mapping in the Punjab area to identify untapped opportunities and acquire new customers (industrial, commercial, and agricultural sectors).
• Existing Account Management: Provide dedicated support to existing buyers and distributors, managing the relationship from Pre-Sales to After-Sales to ensure customer retention and repeat business.
• Revenue Generation: Increase revenues, profitability, and cash flow for the company according to established KPIs, ensuring the region contributes significantly to national targets.
• Market Intelligence: Build and demonstrate a deep understanding of the local market, including monitoring competitor activity and regulatory changes in Punjab's energy sector.
• Marketing Support: Support regional marketing activities and market communications to enhance brand visibility in key cities (e.g., Lahore, Faisalabad, Multan).
• Travel: Frequent business travel to visit existing and potential customers throughout the Punjab region and wider Pakistan as required.
Qualification Criteria :
• Education: Bachelor’s or higher degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) or Business Administration would be an advantage.
• Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Pakistan PV market, with specific insights into the Punjab region's industrial and commercial energy needs.
• Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of successful B2B Sales/Marketing/Business Development experience, ideally in the PV/Solar industry or related technical industries (e.g., inverters, water pumps, industrial machinery).
• Track Record: Proven track record of successful execution of sales targets and managing an existing customer base in previous roles.
• Soft Skills: Result-driven approach, ability to work autonomously, and strong negotiation/communication skills.
• Technical Aptitude: Strong problem-solving, analytical, and technical skills to effectively explain product value to technical buyers.
• Work Ethic: High reliability, ability to work under pressure, enthusiastic, dynamic, and self-motivated.
Language Requirement:
• Proficient in English and Urdu (Written and Spoken).
• Fluency in Punjabi is highly desirable to facilitate smoother communication with regional buyers and local stakeholders.
