Bloomberg is seeking a Buildings Decarbonization Analyst in London to develop and implement strategies for reducing carbon emissions and enhancing energy efficiency in its buildings. Develop and implement strategies to reduce carbon emissions and increase energy efficiency in buildings owned and operated by Bloomberg.
Conduct thorough research and analysis on sustainable building practices, energy efficiency measures, and carbon reduction strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for decarbonizing Bloomberg's buildings and operations.
Monitor and track progress towards carbon reduction goals, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Utilize data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in sustainable building and energy efficiency.
Work with internal and external stakeholders to promote sustainability initiatives and gain buy-in for decarbonization efforts.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners and vendors to support sustainability initiatives.
Communicate complex information effectively to various stakeholders, including senior leaders and employees.
Provide training and education to employees on sustainable building practices and energy efficiency measures.
Conduct audits and assessments of buildings to identify areas for improvement and potential cost savings.
Assist in the development of sustainability reports and presentations for both internal and external audiences.
Participate in relevant industry events and conferences to stay informed and network with other sustainability professionals.
Collaborate with other teams within Bloomberg to integrate sustainability into company-wide initiatives and goals.
Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards related to building decarbonization.
