One Mission Society is seeking a Bike Repair Technician in Vercelli, Italy. The role involves repairing bicycles, teaching others, and engaging in disciple-making within local communities. At One Mission Society, our vision is to empower reproducing disciples of Jesus Christ who can transform their spheres of influence. As a Bike Repair Technician within our Disciple-Making team, you will play a pivotal role in stewarding conditions for a disciple-making movement.

You will repair bicycles at Agape Bici, teach others how to do so, and model disciple-making practices with individuals and churches in your geographical area.
Education and Experience Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience with disciple-making processes an asset.
Skill Requirements
• Demonstrated understanding of spiritual disciplines and scriptural application.
• Ability to network effectively with partners.
• Capacity to work collaboratively with team members, showing value and respect.
• Ability to learn local language to an intermediate level.
• Must possess a coachable spirit.
• Presents themselves well, engaging in tasks with enthusiasm.
• Weave the compassion of Christ into all tasks.
• Mechanically inclined, able to work with one's hands.
• Ability to diagnose and repair bicycles independently.
• Effective communication skills to interface with customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Maintain a deepening relationship with Jesus Christ through prayer, scripture study, fasting, and other spiritual disciplines.
• Acknowledge dependence on Christ alongside teammates, fostering accountability and unity.
• Engage non-believers and help others grow in faith using OMS-approved evangelism processes.
• Collaborate with the Disciple-Making team to plan and execute disciple-making initiatives in local churches and networks.
• Partner with local leaders to establish 'bands' for disciple-making, identify future leaders, and provide training opportunities.
• Spiritually prepare churches for partnership with Church Development to reach their community.
• Contribute to developing strategies and training programs in disciple-making.
• Support conferences, trainings, and stewardship teams as needed.
• Seek out and recommend resources and processes for implementation in disciple-making.
• Implement translation protocols for materials.
• Collaborate with Disciple-Making and Church Development teams to maintain effective processes and relationships.
• Assist in other OMS Country Team ministries as applicable.
• Repair bicycles for those visiting Agape Bici.
• Donate and repair bicycles to give away for free to others.
• Manage tool and part purchases, ensuring adequate inventory for repairs.
• Be willing to learn the local language to an intermediate level.
