Bicycle Mechanic (e-bikes, e-cargo)

Zoomo is seeking a Bicycle Mechanic (e-bikes, e-cargo) in Edinburgh to maintain and repair their fleet while providing excellent customer service. The role requires experience as a bike mechanic, preferably with e-bikes, and a passion for e-mobility. Competitive pay and a dynamic team environment are offered. Some travel to Glasgow clients may be necessary. This is a full-time, onsite position.

THE ROLE

What You'll Do:
• Maintain and repair our fleet of e-bikes, e-mopeds and e-cargo's
• Provide top-notch customer service to our courier partners.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and diagnose problems efficiently.
• Ensure all repairs meet our high standards of quality.
• Contribute to a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
• Some travel to our Glasgow clients may be required.

What You'll Bring:
• Proven experience as a bike mechanic, preferably with e-bikes.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• A passion for e-mobility and sustainability.
• A positive, can-do attitude and a team player mentality.

Requirements
• Experience working as a bike mechanic (electric or not), we are willing to consider candidates coming from other fields such as car or motorcycle mechanics.
• Cytech Level 2 bicycle mechanics training or equivalent would be ideal but not essential.
• Familiarity with all types of bikes and accessories
• Experience with e-bikes or lithium ion batteries
• Relevant industry experience (cycling, food delivery, mobility, technology)
• Flexibility to work shifts and remotely in different sites
• To be able to work as part of a team, collaborating with the Zoomo teams worldwide
• Strong administrative skills and ability to keeping a log of stock
