We are seeking an exceptional professional to join our team as Assistant Director, Ecological Restoration Institute at Northern Arizona University. This key leadership position is responsible for providing administrative and executive support to the ERI Executive Director and Leadership Team. The successful candidate will oversee all administrative processes, including financial oversight, personnel management, staff travel, event planning, and confidential matters.

• Serving as the HR liaison for all staff and faculty onboarding and offboarding for the department.
• Supervising a staff of 2 to facilitate cross-training for succession of job tasks and ensure critical tasks are completed.
• Providing strategic workforce and budgetary planning and execution.

The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in business, public administration, or a field pertinent to this position, along with 8 years of relevant experience. They should also have excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, ability to promote a diverse, inclusive environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
