Our client, a prestigious architectural firm known for its innovative and sustainable designs, is seeking a talented Architectural Designer to join their team in Cincinnati, Ohio, US . This position requires a passionate individual with a keen eye for aesthetics and a strong commitment to environmentally conscious design principles. The role involves contributing to all phases of the design process, from conceptualization through to construction documentation, with a focus on developing high-performance, LEED-certified buildings.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with senior architects, project managers, and clients to bring architectural visions to life. You will be responsible for creating detailed design drawings, renderings, and models, ensuring compliance with building codes, regulations, and client specifications. Key Responsibilities: Develop architectural concepts and design solutions for diverse projects, emphasizing sustainability and aesthetic quality. Prepare detailed architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details, using CAD and BIM software. Create high-quality renderings and 3D models to visually communicate design ideas to clients and stakeholders. Conduct research on building materials, technologies, and sustainable design practices. Collaborate with engineering consultants (structural, MEP, civil) to integrate their work into the architectural design. Assist in the preparation of construction documents and specifications. Ensure designs comply with relevant building codes, zoning regulations, and accessibility standards. Participate in client meetings and presentations, articulating design intent clearly. Contribute to project management tasks, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource coordination. Support the firm's commitment to sustainable design by actively seeking and implementing green building strategies. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution. Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in architectural design. Proficiency in architectural software, including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite. Strong understanding of sustainable design principles and LEED certification processes. Excellent design sensibility, creativity, and technical skill. Knowledge of building codes and construction practices. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate within a team environment. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines. Architectural license or EIT certification is a plus. Passion for creating innovative and responsible architecture.
