Application Engineer

Jinko Solar Co., Ltd. is hiring an ESS Application Engineer in Melbourne, VIC. Position: ESS Application Engineer (ANZ)

Location: Melbourne, VIC

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Engage with local third-party engineering teams (hardware and software) and

facilitate the integration of Utility and C&I ESS solutions

- Support the technical aspects of product development by providing guidance to

the ANZ Product Engineering and HQ R&D department

- Participate in onsite integration and testing activities (battery, inverter, PPC)

- Guide ANZ based commissioning and service engineers

- Work closely on product design and the product roadmap with internal

stakeholders, including Product Engineering, Solutions and R&D

- Act as a subject matter expert on energy storage technology and industry trends,

providing insights and guidance to customers and internal teams as needed.

- Provide occasional technical product support to customers throughout the sales

and project implementation stages.

REQUIRED SKILLSET

- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or mechatronics

- Programming experience is a plus (Matlab, C, Python)

- Strong technical understanding of the engineering first principles

- Experience with Batteries, Inverters, PLC is a plus

- Confident communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to

both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Willingness to travel locally and interstate to support product integration

- Australian unrestricted full working rights.

- Valid driver’s license

- Proficiency in English and Chinese
