Selby Jennings is hiring an Acquisition Analyst for a real estate investment firm in Charlotte, NC. The role involves financial analysis, due diligence, market evaluation, and investment presentations, reporting to the VP of Acquisitions. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 2-5 years of experience. The firm specializes in the retail sector and is expanding its acquisition team.
A well-established North Carolina real estate investment and management firm, boasting over 80 years of success and properties in more than 10 states, is seeking to expand its acquisition team. Specializing in the retail sector, this firm manages several billion dollars in assets and is poised for continued growth and team expansion.

As an Acquisition Analyst, you will report directly to the Vice President of Acquisitions and Dispositions. With the team's ambitious growth plans over the next few years, you will gain invaluable exposure to the retail space and play a crucial role in supporting the firm's ongoing success as a leading real estate investment and management company.

Acquisitions Analyst will be responsible for:
• Financial Analysis and Modeling: Evaluate potential acquisitions through detailed financial analysis and modeling.
• Due Diligence: Conduct thorough assessments of target companies.
• Market Trend Evaluation: Analyze industry dynamics to identify acquisition opportunities.
• Investment Presentations: Prepare and present investment memos to senior management.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with various departments to ensure smooth transactions.
• Negotiation Support: Assist in negotiating acquisition deals and conducting risk assessments

Qualifications and Requirements:
• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, Real Estate, or a related field.
• Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and financial modeling abilities.
• Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in Argus.
