AmeriCorps Conservation Corps USFS Specialty Assistant Crew

The AmeriCorps Conservation Corps USFS Specialty Assistant Crew position involves leading a team to manage invasive species in remote locations across Colorado. Members will camp and work with the United States Forest Service, focusing on herbicide use and environmental service. The role requires teamwork, communication, and conflict resolution skills. Herbicide: Lead a unique team of 3 dynamic individuals, partnering with the United States Forest Service (USFS). Teams on herbicide crew will travel and camp in remote locations, treating invasive species, while working in a team environment. Must be willing to learn the ins and outs of invasive plant management, herbicides, federal land management, and environmental service.
