Work Hours: 44 hours a week : 8.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday and 8.00am to 12.00pm, Saturdays (excluding public holidays)

Agronomist (Plant Health & Pest Control) - Greenhouse Farm

Job Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Agronomist specialising in plant health and pest management to support crop production in a high-tech greenhouse environment. This role is responsible for implementing integrated pest anagement (IPM) strategies, monitoring crop health, and ensuring optimal growing conditions to achieve high yield and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Implement and manage Integrate Pest Management (IPM) programs
• Conduct routine crop scouting and identify pests, diseases, and deficiencies
• Recommend and execute biological and chemical control measures
• Monitor plant growth, nutrition, and overall crop performance
• Maintain pest and crop health records, reports, and treatment logs
• Ensure greenhouse sanitation, hygiene, and biosecurity practices
• Collaborate with production and technical teams on climate and crop strategies
• Train farm staff on pest identification and safe handling procedures

Requirements
• Diploma or Degree in Agronomy, Horticulture, Plant Science, Entomology, or related field
• Experience in greenhouse, hydroponic, or controlled-environment agriculture preferred
• Knowledge of IPM, crop nutrition, and plant health diagnostics
• Familiarity with pesticide handling and safety standards
• Detail-oriented with strong observation and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working greenhouse environment

Salary Range

S$3,500 - S$4,200 per month (commensurate with experience)
