Job Description:

We are seeking a full time Accounting Manager who is responsible for overseeing financial statements like balance sheets, invoices, accounts payable and accounts receivable. Their duties include overseeing and directing accounting staff, compiling financial reports, and handling all aspects of accounting. This is a full time in person position, the candidate will be required to report to the office location in Glenwood Springs, Colorado daily.

Responsibilities:
• Leading a team of accounting staff
• Managing General Ledger, Cash, Accounts Receivable, and more
• Monthly closings and financial statement preparation
• Journal entries and account reconciliations
• Assist in external audit and special projects
• Leads budgeting, forecasting, and analytical activities
• Monthly and quarterly sales tax
• Monitor financial transactions

Requirement
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ Year Accounting Experience with experience with GAAP
• Strong Microsoft office Skills
• Proficient in QuickBooks
• Strong Organizational and problem-solving skills
• Experience managing teams

Preferred Qualifications
• Previous experience with construction industry revenue recognition and job cost accounting
• Construction industry experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Hands-on, positive attitude, professional, results-driven, problem solver, accountable

Pay: $80,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
